On the first day of the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, Team USA triumphed over Spain in men’s wheelchair basketball with a final score of 66-56.
Alabama Paralympian Brian Bell contributed ten points for Team USA and was flawless from the free-throw line, hitting both of his attempts.
On the Spanish side, Ignacio Ortega Lafuente, also from Alabama, led his team with 17 points and made all four of his free throws.
