2024 Tour Championship Prize Money: Record $100M Bonus Pool Payouts for FedEx Cup Playoffs and Finale

The 2024 Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club features the largest prize fund in professional golf history. With the top 30 PGA Tour players competing for a share of the record $100 million FedEx Cup bonus pool—$25 million more than last year—players have the opportunity to see unprecedented figures in their accounts by the end of the week.

This season's signature events and the first two playoff events offered a total purse of $20 million, $5 million less than what the winner of this week's Tour Championship will earn. The winner’s share of $25 million represents the largest payout in PGA Tour history, a $7 million increase from the past two seasons, and a $10 million jump from 2019, the year the staggered start format was introduced.

Scottie Scheffler leads the season earnings with over $25 million, thanks to victories at the Masters, Players Championship, and four signature events. Xander Schauffele is close to $20 million, bolstered by two major wins, while Hideki Matsuyama, Wyndham Clark, and Rory McIlroy are among those who have earned more than $10 million in 2024.

A top-five finish guarantees at least $5 million, and players finishing in the top 12 will all earn seven figures. Everyone competing in the Tour Championship will receive a minimum of $500,000 for qualifying.

Here’s a breakdown of the payouts for the 30 players at the 2024 Tour Championship. The remaining $17.05 million of the FedEx Cup purse will be distributed among the other 120 players in the standings.
