Jack White has threatened legal action against the Trump campaign for using his music without permission, accusing them of inappropriate use.

Jack White Calls Trump Campaign 'Fascists' and Threatens Lawsuit Over Unauthorized Music Use

Jack White, lead singer of The White Stripes, has condemned Donald Trump’s campaign as "fascists" and is threatening legal action after an aide reportedly used a clip of the band's hit "Seven Nation Army" in a pro-Trump social media post.

Margo Martin, Trump’s deputy director of communications, shared a 10-second video featuring Trump boarding a plane, with the band's song playing as the background music.

The unauthorized use of the track has provoked White, who joins a growing list of musicians displeased with their work being associated with Trump’s campaign. On Instagram, White wrote: "Don’t even think about using my music, you fascists. Lawsuit coming from my lawyers (to add to your 5,000 others). Have a great day at work today, Margo Martin."

This controversy follows recent objections from other artists, including the Swedish band ABBA, who demanded Trump cease using their music, as well as Céline Dion, Beyoncé, Johnny Marr of The Smiths, the family of Isaac Hayes, and the estate of Sinéad O’Connor, all of whom have expressed discontent with their work being used by Trump or his staff.
